MUNICIPALITY OF MAROUSSI FESTIVAL 2026 OPENING
Pioneers of the Greek music scene and acclaimed artists join the Municipality of Maroussi Festival 2026, accompanying our summer nights with unique moments of true entertainment at the Aitrio Theatro (219 Kifisias Ave.), from June 30th to July 15th.
Our ambition and goal, through our cultural proposal and the unique atmosphere of the Festival, is to once again offer entertainment and beautiful moments to all spectators, succeeding in covering a very wide range of their artistic interests and preferences.

The Festival
The Municipality of Maroussi Festival was born in 2007 with the purpose of embracing the theater-loving audience of the northern suburbs during summer nights. Maroussi, as a cradle of culture both in the past and present, could not help but play a leading role on the contemporary cultural map of Attica.
Since then, the Maroussi Festival has established itself as one of the most important festivals in Attica, and the only one in the northern suburbs.
In an outdoor venue with a capacity of 2,500 seated spectators, it has hosted hundreds of popular artists in numerous music, dance, and theatrical performances over all these years.
Every year, prominent names from the music and theater scenes, alongside alternative artistic proposals, meet at the Maroussi Festival, which acts as a pole of attraction for more than 50,000 spectators throughout its duration.
Renewal is a defining characteristic of its journey; however, what remains constant is its appeal to a mass audience, successfully covering a wide spectrum of the public’s artistic interests and preferences.

The established institution of the Maroussi Festival will once again this summer be the top cultural destination of the Northern Suburbs. In the welcoming space of the Aitrio Theatro, the public will witness, for yet another year, concerts and performances by exceptional and acclaimed music and theater artists.
At the same time, culture will permeate every neighborhood of our Municipality, featuring film screenings in public squares, art exhibitions in cultural centers, and rich events representing every form of high-quality art—all available for the entertainment of Maroussi residents and visitors of all ages.
